Seven Deadly Sins: Sloth

Hey guys! So I decided to do a Seven Deadly Sins Makeup Series! I got the idea from Nymphette's September Calendar! When I first saw the whole calendar. This theme immediately grabbed my attention & even though I didn't have time to do it, I made a mental note to do a look for all seven sins & just post it as a series. So without further adieu, here's the first installment; Sloth.

[Sloth] the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
I looked up some things on Sloth & found that the color associated with this sin is light blue. I didn't want to limit myself to their designated colors though so I went a different route. It's so funny though, I google imaged "sloth" & this picture came out. I hate to say this but I really do resemble that critter with these lashes lol. Anyway, the dark smokey outer-eyes represent the underlying potential that is present & ready to be put to work. The light colored lips & the soft plume lashes, though, represent the "desire for ease" & all the potential wasted & going unused. Uhh.. I hope my interpretation makes sense. Haa.

Princessa Pearl Powder Eyeshadow • ICE Cosmetics Sparkle Glitter • UD Rockstar
The makeup is really really simple. I used the grey shimmery loose eyeshadow by Princessa on the lids & took Rockstar by Urban Decay in the crease. Rockstar is so pretty, by the way. It's a dark purple with tiny little violet glitter specs. It's so gorgeous. Anyway, I blended it upwards with UD's Naked color from the Naked Palette. Then with a wet brush I patted on Sparkle Glitter in the inner eye from ICE Cosmetics.

Hand Made Black Wispy Plume Eyelashes [FE108] from KKCenterHK
I thought the plume lashes would give the look a airy/carefree feel. Haha these lashes are awesome. I totally felt like Black Swan with these on yesterday lol. The band on these is longer than most lashes & surprisingly, they're really comfortable, other than the fact that you can feel them touching your forehead lol they're really light on your eyes & the plumes didn't bug me at all. These would be really neat for Halloween or special themed parties. You can find these babies here.

 NYX Strawberry Milk
Keeping the lips light & keeping the carefree feel, I used this pretty super light pink. I love how creamy these lipsticks are & how incredibly pigmented they are.

Song Of The Week: Words Revealed

I've gotten some comments & emails asking what the song playing is. I'm totally inlove with it too & I love her voice! It's called Words Revealed & it's by Amaal Nuux. I loved it after the first time I heard it. (:

Welp that's it for today! Hope you guys enjoyed this super dramatic look lol which can totally be toned down with more natural (or none) falsies. Thanks so much for stopping by. (:

Tequila ☼ Sunrise +Sweetest Phrand.

 Day One: Tequila Sunrise
This look is from Nymphette's September Makeup Challenge. I know a lot of girls have been doing looks from her Makeup Calendar & I've been really loving her themes. It's such a fun way to interract with other girls & see different makeup looks based on the same themes. You get to see one's individual creativity. No one's take on a theme is ever exactly the same. It's really cool! I started off this month, really wanting to do a lot of the ones she came up with, but life kind of got in the way & I only managed to do the first day lol. I've had this in my [drafts] for weeks lol I wasn't going to post it since it's been like a month but I figured mmehh.. what the hey.

ICE Cosmetics: Yellow Brick Road & HD Orange • Sedona Lace 88 Eyeshadows [Matte Palette]
I didn't do anything particularly out of the box but I still really liked this. It's a great excuse to play with bright colors! I used the matte pigments from ICE Cosmetics & used a Pink & an Orange color from the Sedona Lace palette in the crease.

 NYX Spellbound
I used this reddish-orangy-pinkish lipstick. I've seen this on other girls & it looks nothing like mine lol. I seriously think they changed up the formula for this lipstick on us. I'm kidding, but seriously google swatches on this one & you'll see it looks super pink in some. Sooo not the case for me.

Gift from the Lovely Annie

My girl Annie from BeautyyMonsterr [who is incredibly lovley] sent me some surprises this week! & Golly, are they wonderful! Lol I turn into such a square when I'm excited. "Golly Jee Wickers!" Lol moving along, isn't the note adorable?!! It has a little bow at the top & HK at the bottom awww! She sent along not one but 4 Orly nail polishes! Eeep. The only Orly np I had was Oh Cabana Boy & I love it! It's my favorite bright pink nail polish next to 24/7 & Fusion Neon. Which are exactly the same, btw. But on to the pictures to these babies!

How beautiful are these colors??!! & The little specs/nail art stuff pictured above are from a Nail Art kit she sent. It came with nail glue, a nail art pick, & the little tubes of glittery goodness you see. They are so pretty & I can't wait to use them. I like to wear all kinds of colors on my nails, regardless of what season it is. But I think Charged Up & Terracotta are going to be particularly trendy to sport this season! Eeep lol I can't wait. Thanks again to my Annie!

& Thank you guys for stopping by!

New Hair : Let's get back to the basics.

..of love. Let's go to Lukenbach, Texas with Waylon and Willie and the Boys! If you got that reference, you're super awesome. But anyway, I was getting really tired of being a blonde! Having to dye my roots every 3-4 weeks was literally stressing me out. Every time I did my roots.. they'd be a weird orangey color & never blended in with the rest of my hair. lol I went back to my dark hair. I used Revlon Colorsilk in Light Ash Brown. I wanted it a dark brown so I went two shades lighter & got exactly what I wanted.
• Before Pics • (Ewww! lol)
• After using Revlon's Light Ash Brown •
[Flash & No Flash]
I love my new hair! I've gotten a lot of compliments from my aunts & my mom said I looked Chula. Haa. Yeahhh that pretty much made my whole week. Lol Colorsilk is the cheapest dye I've seen & as a blonde, I kept trying different brands but the one that worked the best for me was Colorsilk. It's also the one that smelled less toxic-ish. The more expensive ones I tried.. Clairol, Garnier, even Loreal Preference all smelled a whole lot worse than Colorsilk. The absolute worst one was Clairol Basalm. I could literally feel it in my lungs, it was so disturbing. I had to keep leaving the bathroom to get fresh air. I always end up coming back to good ole reliable Revlon Colorsilk.. It just works for me. (:

i ♥ my baby .

My Muneka's so sweet x3 I want a picture with her but she never looks at the camera lol

Darling Girl Cosmetics+ Killer Heels!

Hey ya'll I ordered the Blogger/Youtuber Sample Pack from Darling Girl Cosmetics after seeing a review from Priscilla at MakupJunkie88, I fell inlove with the swatches! Haa. The colors she picked were so pretty & they looked so pigmented & she did a really nice look with them. Looking back now, I wish I had gotten Butterfly Flutterby. Haa. It looks gorgeous! Anywho! I'm really happy with the ones I did pick though.

Midnight Sea • Aziza • Lemon Meringue • Serenity [No Flash & With Flash]
My favorites are Aziza & Serenity. They're all really nicely pigmented & the colors are pretty unique. I can honestly say I don't have a blue-ish grey like this or a purple like this. Lemon Meringue is not just a yellow. It has a gorgeous rose-like undertone. It's super pretty.

Their business card is adorable. (: & The packaging was really nice & secure. The shadows come in tiny ziplock baggies with enough product for a few uses. Really cool.

Clusterfluff [With Flash & No Flash]
Eeep! This is probably the one that surprised me the most. I never thought I'd feel so strongly about a grey eyeshadow lol. I love this color! I've worn it the past two days as a lid color. It's really shimmery & goes with just about any color.

Clusterfluff • Midnight Sea
I used Clusterfluff on the inner eye & Midnight Sea in the outer eye. Freakin love that Clusterfluff! lol

Wait .. Is this the real price?

If I'm on your Twitter, then you already know about these babies. I went shopping last weekend & who doesn't love a great sale? I enjoy shopping a lot more when I save money. Haa. That really makes no sense. But y'all know what I mean! Well at JC Penny, the original price to these "Dorothy shoes" [as my man called them lol] was $70 & I got them for $6.97. Eeeeejole! They had a lot of clearance shoes for $6 but all the ones I wanted the sales lady "couldn't find the pair". -___- The only one they found were these. Sighhh. Still, it was my favorite thing I got. Haa. Sorry the second pic is so small, I crop pics to keep my BF at ease lol.

Thanks so much for reading (:

Mermaid After Party.

Under the seaaaa! Most everyone has a Mermaid inspired makeup look! So I wanted to join ya'll! Haa. I was inspired by Nessa's gorg pigment After Party. It totally reminded me of the sea & mermaids. I only used two colors (not counting my highlight) After Party can look like a blue-green & a green-blue, depending on how the light hits it. You can see this in my full face pic, below. How awesome is that!

I.C.E. Pigments: Black Out • After Party
I love this shade of blue! It's so pretty & bright & shimmery. Don't mind my crazy eyeliner. Haha. Anywho, I just used After Party on the lids & the inner half of the lower lash lines. I used Black Out to darken the outer eye a little bit. I also used a little bit of the right top color in WnW's Lust palette as my highlight.

NYX Lipstick: Circe
I was totally not sold on this color when I first got it. It looked weird on me & didn't go with me at all. I think I might've been outside my mind then, because I absolutely love it now. I am wearing a little bit of gloss too. It's my Dots gloss which is like a nude-ish slightly shimmery color. I took Becca's advice & used Circe with a gloss & I love it!! ♥

NOTD: Let the Queen go!
Sinful Colors Let Me Go [Underneath] • Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty [Shown Above]
The pic doesn't do it justice lol But it looks really sparkly & really pretty. I've been putting glitter nailpolish on almost every polish I wear. It's a current obsession that will hopefully die soon. You guys were right! It's such a pain to remove lol

Thanks so much for reading, lovelies.

"UD Makes Nice" Haul+Swatches

Shello (: So most everyone's been taking advantage of Urban Decay's awesome sale items. I hopped on the bandwagon & waited two weeks for my order. I ended up getting a Cali girl's order instead of mine. After a bit of crying & sulking out of pure disappointment (Yes, I know. Pathetic. -___-) & a long nap.. I felt better. The next day my man was sweet enough to sort it out with UD, even though he used not-so-sweet words with them. They said they were out of stock of some of the things we had ordered Asphyxia & Shattered. But they said they would replace those with cream shadows & use next day delivery. Awesome! Right? I really wanted Asphyxia but ehh, whaddayagonado! Luckily, the girl whose order I received had ordered Shattered & UD let me keep her order. So yay! I really wasn't expecting their package the next day or that they'd go out of their way to make up for the mistake. But they did! They really did. So kudos to them! I had already sworn off buying from them on my Twitter. I know, I'm so gosh darn dramatic. I later said with a much more level head & a much more realistic outlook "Well.. I just won't buy from them online." Lol. Mistakes happen though. Anywho! On to the haul..

Can I just say the wrapping paper is freakin awesome? I didn't get wrapping paper like this on the first order, just this one. & It's soooo cool. I'm totally keeping it.
Cream Shadows $17.00 $3.00
I honestly didn't think I would like these. I've owned cream shadows before but not a ton. I don't like the gooeyness feeling on my eyelids. But these are really nice. They have a little sponge wand like lipglosses have, which is awesome & very convenient. I actually love all four of these. I can't pick a favorite from these. [Swatches Below]

Matte Single Eyeshadows $17.00 $3.00
Ugh! These shadows were really what my little heart was truly set on. Especially Electric & Purple Haze. I've been wanting them foreverrr! I always imagined they'd be like my matte shadow Mac Violet Trance. Meaning, I expected the swatches to look more like this. & Honestly, I wouldn't have cared! I wanted them that badly. But I was very pleasantly surprised! These shadows are super silky & soooo pigmented. I didn't expect this much color payoff. I loved them so much+ they're matte. Yayyy. [Swatches Below]

 Loose Pigments $20.00 $1.00
These babies are what drew all the people in, I think. They were only a dollar! Eeeep! I was really glad I was able to get Shattered. Thanks Cali girl! I really like Rockstar too. It's a really dark sparkly purple. It's gorgeous. I never wear greens.. like ever! I always vow that I'll start but I never do lol. Protest is really pretty, so I'll try to put it to good use. [Swatches Below]

Box Of Potions
I'm not sure how much this usually goes for. I couldn't find it on their website but Amazon says $38. I've found that you can't always trust Amazon though lol. They threw this one in for funsies. It includes a Complexion Primer Potion • Lip Primer Potion • Eyeshadow Primer Potion • Eyelash Primer Potion. Of course!! They would send me $30 worth of primers though. Lol I was just telling Banannie that I never use my primer potion.. because I don't see any difference with it. So I don't even bother. So of course, they would send me this. Lol I'm just being Alanis Morisette-ish! Of course I appreciate it. & I really am thankful that they were so helpful & quick about it. So many thanks to them & a whole bunch of thanks to my Bae for being here for me, even when I'm being incredibly childish. lol <3

Yaaayyy!
Yayy! MakeupByNessa was having a giveaway recently! She had 3 place winners & I was her second place winner. Yayy! Lol My prize was pigments from her sister's very own ICE Cosmetics. & Let me tell you, the colors are amazing! They are soooo easy to work with & the colors are so freakin gorgeous.

A pic of their business card. Cuuuuute! x3
I swatched all the pigments & you should've heard me lol I was in the bathroom like "Wowww.. Oooo.. Omgg" My dog must've thought I was such a weirdo. I love all the colors. Especially HD Pink. Lust is sooo gorgeous. I love them all. My man was impressed that it was their very own shadow line. He was like "So.. they made that logo?.. and the colors? .. Naw.. [Pause] Yo, that's cool." lol I've been trying a new color every day. So again, thank you so much Nessa! Don't be shy to follow her, here on blogger/her YT. She does amazing makeup. & Just in case you don't believe me, here are some pics from her recent post..

Gorgeous!
