On the prowl..

[Inspiration Pic]
Okay so like every other girl in the planet, I love leopard print! lol I recently took the picture above, in my car & when I got my Shop/Cook lipsticks, I noticed how close Naughty Saute was to the pink trim lol. Super odd, I know. So the makeup is ridiculously simple but I also based my nails off of the leopard print & off a pic I saw on weheartit. Okay, well on to the makeupsss..

Eyes.
Sedona Lace 88 Matte Palette • Wet n Wild ColorIcon Eyeliner in Purple/Violet [pictured here]
lol sorry for the scary close up
Easy right?! I was also going out to do my taxes today lol So I didn't want to look too loca. I used the purple eyeliner on the waterline so that it wouldn't be so boring. I slapped on some Cosmo lashes.. I finally got the hang of putting on bottom lashes (kinda). The first few times, they kept poking my eyes. I was putting them too close, I still think they're too close.. but it was too hard to put them lower because then they'd sit on my real lashes. =/ I also tried putting them under & up of my real ones but they itched & bothered me lol. Both sets of these (top&bottom) are really short. My lower lashes are way longer than these & my top lashes are just a tad bit shorter than the falsies. I also feel like the band isn't long enough to fit my eyes. You can tell which are my natural lashes & which are the falsies 'cause mine are saturated in clumpy mascara lol. Natural looking falsies are neat & all, I just wouldn't make a habit of this lol I like my super fake looking lashes. >.<

Lips.
MAC Naughty Saute
Here's the bubblegum pink lipstick that started it all. This is such a pretty pink. I thought I did, but I have nothing in my collection like this pink. It looks pretty dupable but it's pretty unique to me. The pic on the right is closer to its true color.

Nails. icicle lights with the queen of beauty.

Sinful Colors: Let Me Go & Queen of Beauty • WnW On a Trip • Funky Fingers Icicle Lights • LA Colors Black [not pictured]

Let me go on a trip with the Queen of Beauty to see the icicle lights! Lol It's pretty cool when you can form a sentence with all the stuff you used! Okay so I know at this point, I've already exhausted the whole leopard nails theme but in addition to the car pic, this picture from somewhere on weheartit came to mind. I was going to recreate it, but instead did a kind of gradient effect with the glitter & then added leopard-like markings on the thumbs & ringer fingers only. Idk why people do this, but honestly I did it 'cause I'm lazy! lol kidding. I liked how the nails looked without the leopard stuff too. If you're wondering where I used "On A Trip".. I used it on the tips, underneath the glitter. It's kind of hard to see. I thought it would show through but it doesn't. So I could've just skipped that polish.

Muneka loves leopard too. ^.~  lol

MAC Shop/Cook Haul.

Hai amiguiz! I'll spare my MAC story this time around, because I'm still a bit heated over it. I feel like every time I plan on getting a collection or something I really want online, something always goes wrong. lol Well this haul is part of my Valentine's gifts from my Bae. The All Styled Up lipstick on the end, I got at my CCO a couple days ago, but the rest are from my boyfrand♥ =^.^= I should also note that the Butterfly Party pigments are from the Vera Collection. Enjoy the swatches!!

MAC Enchantee
 MAC Naughty Saute
 MAC Quick Sizzle
MAC Watch Me Simmer
MAC Innocence, Beware!
MAC All Styled Up
MAC Crushed Metallic Pigments
 ♥ Butterfly Party (purple)
 ♥ Desert Cloud (blue)
 ♥ Rain Drop (aquaish)
 ♥ Moss Garden (greenish silver)

In this pic, I'm wearing the silver color (Moss Garden) all over lid. Which by the way.. isn't a regular silver color. It has some greenish tints to it sometimes. I can't explain it, but you can kind of see it in the swatches. Yes? No? Perhaps.. lol I hope you see it too. It's really beautiful IRL. It's my favorite pigment from the four. Moving along though, I also used the blue (Desert Cloud) in the crease and the lower lash line, +the purple (Butterfly Party) lightly above crease. I also used I ♥ Matte to blend out and to highlight & darken. The only pigment I'm not wearing, is the greenish aquaish color (Raindrop). I shall save that baby for a full post. *does creepy eyebrow raising thing* lol

She's got these big green eyes and they're as wide as the moon..

lensvillage.com was generous enough to send a pair of circle lenses for a review. I had posted a poll on my blog awhile back asking what color of circle lenses you would be interested in. Hazel won by a smidgen. Tied for second place was Green & Grey. Since I was looking for something bigger than 16mm, I couldn't pick from their Hazel lenses since they were all smaller. So it was down to Green & Grey and considering my last circle lens post was on Grey lenses, I opted for Green! I've been trying these for about a month. I wanted to make fair comparisons to my other lenses & gave myself some time to really get familiar with them. The following is my personal experience with these lenses & my honest opinions.

[Flash+ "Close Up" Setting]
This pic above was taken on a different day. Reason: I didn't realize I didn't capture a focused "before" picture of both eyes til later that night lol.

Product Info:
My order consisted of a pair of lenses+ regular contact case.
♥ Crystal / Vivian 3 Tones Green Lenses 16.5mm
  • Brand: VASSEN
  • Diameter : 16.5 mm
  • Water Content : 38~42%
  • Base Curve : 8.60 mm
  • Life Span : 1 year disposal
  • Price: $23.00
My Experience
  • Design: I really like the design. In natural lighting, the green color isn't super obvious for me. I have really dark eyes & the green color doesn't really come through. So if you're looking for a green that will really show up on dark eyes, these are not ideal for that. I'm not too comfortable with colored contacts on me though so I'm fine with the subtle green. They photograph really nicely with flash, as you can see, but the color won't look like that irl.
  • Enlargement: One thing I didn't like was that these don't have the dark circle around them.. which leaves more room for color but for me, I feel like it looks like it takes away some enlargement. I feel like the dark ring makes my eyes look bigger. I don't mind the lack of color, 'cause what I want is enlargement. Still, they are really nice at enlarging the eye. Although, I don't see much difference at all from my 15mm.
  • Comfort: Super comfortable! I like these much more than my GEO lenses when it comes to comfort. I don't even feel them! When I wear my grey GEOS, I can feel a difference. My grey ones aren't uncomfortable but I can still feel them & need drops some days, or they'll start to feel itchy. Not the case with these green ones.
  • LensVillage.com: The website itself offers some reasonable prices+ they have a lot of sales/promotions. The lenses are easy to navigate through; sorted by color & brand, which is always helpful!
Overall, these are beautiful lenses. I'm loving the subtle color change & definitely a fan of the how comfortable they feel. If anything, I think that's what makes me love them so much. They feel amazing.

Here are the posts where I'm wearing these lenses..
I should also note that the title of this post is from this awesome song.

Seven Deadly Sins : Gluttony

[Gluttony] desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Eeeek. One of my personal favorite sins! The animal associated with Gluttony is the pig & its color is orange. I decided to make pink my main color. I can't even say how many times I tried doing this look before & just wasn't satisfied with it! This has been the hardest one to do. I think the reason for it, is because it totally takes me out of my comfort zone. I'm not use to using orange on my eyes.. just like with Envy I wasn't use to seeing green on me, so it kind of freaks me out. lol That's the reason I used the coral-pink color with it, to kind of soften the shock lol. I paired the Cheeto eyes with a pale pink color & some different eyeliner.

ICE Cosmetics Pinksta • Sedona Lace Matte Palette
I used the sparkly coral-pink shadow from ICE cosmetics on the inner parts of the eyes & the orange color on the outer two-thirds of the eyes. I also used Hustle from the first Naked palette to define the outer eyes. I used the right eyelid color from the I ♥ Matte palette to blend out the crease & both highlighters as my highlight. Then took the matte black on my lower lash-line. The lashes are random ebay lashes.

Revlon Prim Rose • Sinful Colors Pucker Up
I used this combination to create a pale pink lip. The lighting is a little crazy this time around. lol Excuse it, I was experimenting & then ran out of sunlight. Story of my life, I know. For someone who isn't a big fan of sticky lipglosses, I sure reach for them a lot lol. Maybe I do it 'cause I subconsciously don't want to use up my good glosses.. which would be pointless. Or maybe it's because they're out in the open, on my vanity & quick to get to. I don't know why I feel the need to analyze every little thing I do. lol Anyway! Hope you enjoyed the look!

Alice In Wonderland ღ

I was playing around with a palette my lovely friend, Lori gave me. [full post coming soon] & I couldn't help but think of Alice while looking at the palette. The packaging more-so than the colors, reminded me of the latest Alice movie. So I did the eyemakeup! I also did some nails but kept the theme closer to the original movie.

Orly Blue Collar • French White • LA Colors BlackVelvet
My bows are totally weird, I know. Haa. Halfway through, I had to stop & look at pictures of bows because I couldn't remember the basic shape. Really?? Well, I tried. I added the black & white stripes because for some reason, they're almost always incorporated in costumey Alice stuff. (striped tights) I don't know where it came from, but I like it & even though it's not from the original, it totally reminds us of her.

Urban Decay Marisposa Palette: Now this is where it all started. The blue in this palette, Haight, is beautiful & reminds me of Alice's dress. I used the gold color, Limelight, on the lower lashes as her gold-blonde hair. I used a little bit of Skimp in the tear duct area for the white rabbit. I tried using the Gunmetal color on the outer lower lashes but it wasn't dark enough, so I just went over it with a matte black shadow. You can't even tell but as my highlighter, I'm using both highlighters from Wet N Wild's I ♥ Matte palette. I also used my new green circle lenses (review coming soon) because they reminded me of the Mad Hatter's green eyes. Although, lol not as crazy. The lashes are two sets of random ebay lashes. I've been doubling up on lashes a lot lately. They look okay for makeup pictures, I just hope I'm not walking around looking like Alejandra Guzman IRL. Haa. You can check out the palette & a closer look of the colors I used here. Thanks again, Lori!

Wet n Wild Bare it All [902C]
Everyone knows how awesome these lipsticks are. Well I only had three of these babies & I recently went out & bought three more. I was looking for the new shade they have, Dollhouse Pink. But I couldn't find any new colors. This was one of the ones I picked up & I wasn't surprised that I loved it. These are really great quality lipsticks that last a decent amount of time. I wouldn't call them "mega-lasting" lol but they do pretty well.
