Arabic Inspired Makeup+NOTD

WnW Blue Had Me At Hello Palette • Jordana Easyliner in Blis

I was inspired by some beautiful, colorful Arabic makeup looks today. I wanted to do a lightweight dramatic look. I really like the thick black liner look along the bottom lashes. I used a liquid liner to make the shape first & then set it with the blackest eyeshadow. I lined my waterline with the Bliss eyeliner & with a black pencil tightlined my eyes. I'm also wearing false lashes, circle lenses in Brown & nail art rhinestones.

Avon's Color Rich Lipstick in Iced Cocoa • Elf Lucious Liquid Lipstick in Ruby Slipper ♥ 

I opted for a rich, deep brownish-red lip. This was a really fun look, it can easily be toned down or amped it even more. Without the rhinestones & a nude lip, I'd definitely wear for a regular day.

Mint Chocolate Makeup.

Hiya! I posted earlier yesterday's fotd. Now this is today's (: I tried to re-create the look I saw here. It's not exactly like hers though, since we have different eye shapes & I couldn't really get it to look like hers. Here's my take on it! (:

LA Colors Tea Time Palette • Sassy&Chic 10 panel Eyeshadow • Avon Eight in One Palette in Paradise Green

  I like the aqua mint color with the brown as opposed to the typical green mint. & Sorry I don't know the name of the Sassy&Chic palette, 'cause I don't see a name on it & idk if they don't have names or if I took off the sticker. I've had it for a looooong time. But obviously it's the aqua-ish one. I use to have the one with the purples but I lost it somewhere. I've had them since like highschool & honestly they're not very pigmented at all. They're really hard to build up so I use my LA colors Wet to Dry Makeup or the Concealer stick as a base since I've found now that the formula to these is kind of sticky & too dry to use on my face. It seems to work pretty well as a shadow base, though. (:

The girl did a pretty matte nude but I opted for a nude with a little bit more color & some shine! Hope ya'll enjoyed this look. Perhaps I'll start posting my pics of my whole face so you can get the whole effect. Fun fact: Mint Chocolate is my favorite icecream & candybar! Lol

Ebay Finds+Brown Sugar

Ahhh! I'm so excited I finally got these! I've been waiting for these since the beginning of last month. I tried the very thin ones.. they were numbered 001. I actually got the hang of it this time. I use to get glue all over my lid & the lashes would still fall off lol It's 8pm now & I've had them on since around 2pm & they still feel alright. I'm just kind of dreading taking them off in a bit. Idk how bad that'll be. lol

 

Yeah, I thought this was lash glue but thanks to Marcy, I now know it's eyelid glue? Omylanta, I'm so lucky I didn't mess up my eyes putting this on my lash line lol. Here's the video she showed me. My eyes & I thank you, Marcy!! Lol Now one thing I wasn't a fan of was the width of the lashes. I just wish the strip was a tad bit longer. I wish it covered my lid a little more. I'll be using them in future FOTD's & I'll tell you exactly how I mean. Overall veryyy happy with this though.

 Avon Color Glazewear in Brown Sugar

I found this gloss & loved the application. It's not your ordinary gloss. It feels like a really moisturizing lipstick. I don't remember ever wearing/swatching this but I found it hiding in my makeup bag & initially I thought it was going to be like a sheer gloss that you wear over a lipstick. But this really has a lot of color & is quite opaque. I love that it's not sticky at all, feels just like a lipstick.

My day's been so stressful & problematic. ;[ BUT I decided not to let things get to me & took off my nudeish lipstick & popped on this beauty lol Makeup really is amazing. It can totally change your mood  <3 or at least serve as a distraction. Red is bold & very empowering.. Something as simple as a red lipstick reminds me so much of who I am. It also reminds me of my mom. Red red red lips have always been her staple & IMO she's the epitome of what a woman should be. :3 It goes far beyond just makeup.
