Arrival Story: My boyfriend & I were looking to adopt a furbaby. Craigslist seemed like the most convenient way. I had never really used it but I didn't really have another choice in this small town. So we posted a wanted ad. We got a reply about an all brown Shih Tzu puppy in a town a little over an hour away. I asked to see a picture & when I opened up the email, I fell in love with my Moo Moo Cakes! lol I went to pick her up myself, a day later. It was a Saturday early afternoon. I met the girl halfway, at a mall. She brought out a brown brindle furball with a little light pink bow. Lol I thought she was the cutest thing ever! I remember gushing over how pretty & soft she was. lol I must've said it twenty times. The long drive home, she just awkwardly sat in the passenger's seat. Lol When I brought her home, she peed & pooped in our kitchen in the first five minutes. lol I was so unprepared. The next two days were full of craziness & at times it got pretty overwhelming but she was such a good puppy & such a little fighter that even when she was sick or hurting from her shots, she was always ready for a game of catch.. or a game of chewing her momma's flip flops. lol After a year+, I'm so happy she's grown into the healthy, smart, happy girl, she is today! She still steals our hearts, everyday.. & I can't imagine going through the day without her. She's my whole world. As my friend Janet, quoted the other day, "Until one has loved an animal. a part of one's soul remains unawakened." ♡ Moo has given my soul life. & She has completely taken over our hearts.
