Let's not forget the meaning of this day. Let's remember & honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation, their lives. Let's pay a special tribute to those who have served & say a prayer for those who are still serving. God bless them.

Great post, hon. I'm a Navy brat (daughter of a retired Navy veteran of 20+ years) and also a Navy wife to my husband who is currently serving, so I really appreciate this post.
