Lol jk Have fun. x3 I dressed up as a Roman Goddess -_- just to say I did. lol My highlight of this Halloween has been watching the Ghosthunters Live Show lol. They have a wrestler & an actress on this.. umm dumb. I guess they think it'll boost ratings, I just see it as a distraction from the investigation. Okay bye bye phrands. Remember to vote on Tuesday ya'll! I went Friday for early voting but was kind of bummed they didn't give me a sticker or a pencil or anything. Lol I was expecting a little souvenir. I guess they save those for Tuesday. Arghh.. I could really go for some candy corn right now. :3

Saturday's Mexican Cuisine. :3

Teehee. Started off the morning with pan dulce. Idk what they call it in English. I've heard people down here call it "sweet bread". But these are the same people that think "parkear" is Spanish for "park". So I'm not sure. lol But anyway!! By the time I woke up, what's shown in the pic is all that was left lol. I ate the pink one. :3 They're my favorite. I also like the super soft conchas. Not the ones up there. They're similar but the others are softer & tastier. :3 Lol Anywayyyy, today was my beautiful Gma's birthday & my WHOLE family had menudo at my Tia Olga's house. It was sooo good. For those of you that don't know what menudo is, let's wikipedia this one time.. ;o

 

Menudo (soup) is a traditional Mexican dish made with beef stomach in a red chili base. Chopped cilantro is added, as well as crushed oregano, garlic, and crushed red chili peppers. Boiled tripe has a tough chewy texture very similar to calamari, but with a completely unique flavor and smell. Menudo is eaten with corn tortillas.

Que rico! I add diced green chile, chopped onions, & lime. ;]  Osea, yumm. And for lunch I had cheese enchiladas! Lool what a delicious day.

Yes, my blog was about food. But you don't understand.. this food was outofthisworldwonderfullyamazing! <3 On a different note, I'm thinking of changing up my bedroom but I don't want to start yet. Whenever I start re-decorating my room, I can't do it in babysteps, I always get borderline obsessive about it & want to finish it asap. =/ So I end up getting overwhelmed pretty fast & give up faster. Argh. I think I'll just try moving things out, little by little. We'll see how that goes. -_-  Tahaa Okay well, ciao for now!! <3 (Yes, I realize no one else reads this blog but me & the occasional person who accidentally clicked their way here. lol But I don't care, I like to be cordial.) Mini L.A. Colors haul.

    Holaa =] I was in & out of flower shops all day today. We stopped by Forever 21 & I picked up some LA Colors stuff. An awesome baked eyeshadow quad, a bright shimery eyeshadow palette, wet to dry makeup, and a concealer stick. =] I've never tried this brand before but at these prices, I figured I'd give it a try. lol I swatched them on my arm & the shadows seem decently pigmented. I tried to take pics of my swatches but the pics didn't do them justice. ;[

Wet to Dry Makeup & Concealer

Light - #BC116 

     Meh, I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone else lol It's not some awesome find. It has decent coverage, but it does feel kind of heavy. It tends to settle in the lines (like around the nose, under the lips, around the eyes) & the product is not very creamy, it's kind of hard & tough to blend & is pretty sticky. But I needed something inexpensive for my face for everyday use. Fail. So I've been using it as an eyeshadow primer.

Praline - #BBE471

     This quad I would definitely recommend! These are awesome Fall colors. I especially like the bronzie & the copperish colors. <3 They are gorgeous.

     Metallic Eyeshadow Palette

Tease - #BES432

     The colors in this palette don't show up as bright as they look. Using a primer, shade stick, or even a white eyeliner as a base does help though. ツ Another thing, the awesome gorgeous, beautiful shimmer on the eyshadows is just a top layer lol Ugh, how annoying! They totally got me with that. Lol The shadows are still somewhat shimmery but not the way they look fresh out the package.

Lol this is so cute. I made it on youtube. :3I got it from cutiegingerbread from youtube. I just discovered her a couple days ago. Haa, "discovered". She is soooo adorable & sweet. She reminds me of one of my only bff's that moved away two years ago. ;[ Subscribe to her if you're not already; She seems like such a sweetheart. :3 She's become my favorite guru, already. Blogspot Almost Gave Me A Heart Attack. ;[

        Blogspot disabled my blog for like half the day cause their automated server thought I was a spammer or something? Idk it was all very confusing but my blog was down for like half the day. Lol I only have 12 posts but this has become my baby. Lool I love my blog & it made me so sad that it was almost taken away. I thought I would never get it back. Ha. I was so glad when it came back ;] Thank Buddha <3 I don't really have much to report today. Me & the bae are watching episodes of WildBoyz lol. Those crazy half naked guys. Hopefully I'll have more stuff to post this week. =] I'm like super careful about what I click on here now lool I don't want to get disabled again. Arrghh lol.

My day's been so stressful & problematic. ;[ BUT I decided not to let things get to me & took off my nudeish lipstick & popped on this beauty lol Makeup really is amazing. It can totally change your mood  <3 or at least serve as a distraction. Red is bold & very empowering.. Something as simple as a red lipstick reminds me so much of who I am. It also reminds me of my mom. Red red red lips have always been her staple & IMO she's the epitome of what a woman should be. :3 It goes far beyond just makeup.

I don't usually wear dark nail polish except for black but I'm so loving this color. IRL it's like a dark grayish-purple. It's absolutely gorgeous & has been my favorite nail polish this month. I've already decided to wear this for Thanksgiving Day lol. If I don't find anything else that floors me, that is. ;]

Doritos! Mmmm; I loveee these crispy, cheesy critters. I ate them with Louisiana hot sauce. I don't even have a big tolerance for hot sauce but that didn't stop me from pouring it on thick. =/ lol My mouth was on fire but jumping jellyfish was it DELICIOUS! <3 LOL As usual, my boyfriend complained about the crunching noises I was making; But it's a good thing he couldn't see the dumb faces I was making lol >.>

Cupcake Heart Soaps :3

      Hi!! So I've been running low on creativity juice but today I got the idea of putting a heart design on a cupcake lol I think it looks adorable & the pictures don't do it justice. It's super glittery & the colors are gorgeous. I love them & they were sooo much easier to make than the ice cream cones & I stress; sooooooooooo much easier! ^.^ I'm still looking for some popsicle molds I can get at a store but no luck yet. =/ So far, so good though. =]]

The Departed. I could watch that movie everyday for the rest of my life :3 I love the cast, the story, the dialogue, the funny accents lol  It's an awesome movie. Git in tha cah!

Ice Cream Soap Cones; Updatedd! :3

I'm so excited my first cone (today) came out almost perfect!! One down, one more to go lol. I want to make at least one more near perfect cone to give to my boyfriend's sister. I'm planning on making a little set of fun shaped soaps for her. I'm thinking an icecream cone, a popscicle, a cupcake, & some hearts!! How cute would that be?!  Arghh they're a pain to make because I'm a beginner but wow is the ending result worth it. They're gorgeous. ღ

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite songs. It's actually kind of sad because it reminds me of my parents & their situation. It literally use to make me cry all the time lol But I still love it. C'mon now who doesn't appreciate a good Vicente Fernandez song. He is deeh best. :3

Day One.

Arrr.. So it's still pretty early in the afternoon but I was anxious to get started right away. ^.^ So far, my day's been pretty typical. I struggled to wake up this morning. Me & my bf stayed up watching the Little Mermaid last night. Why? I don't know.. cause it's amazing. =| Then I ran some quick errands & tried to go back to sleep. I made some hamburgers for me & my brother & chit chatted with my boyfriend. Lool he's wonderful. In a few, I'm going to attempt to make some melt & pour soap icecream cones. I need prayers. This is the third time I try doing this.. the first two times were.. um.. not great. I think I'm getting the hang of it though. I just hope I don't mess this batch up. >.>
