Instagram Makeup ♥

Instagram has become the easiest & most convenient way to share makeup pics for me. Blogging is still fun though! The beauty of blogging is that you can go into as much detail as you want! But over the past few weeks, I've been sharing makeup pics on Instagram like cray! Below are some of my favorites! I'll include a list of the products I used for each picture. Also, for some of the IG pictures, the filter was too overpowering so I posted the pre-filtered version for some of them. Enjoy!!

•Farewell April• Haul+Swatches

Hi phrands. Well here's an small end of the month haul! I went out looking for the Comfort Zone & the Petal Pusher palettes but they were all out. I did, however, find some pretty awesome lipsticks!!! Yay! I'm obsessed with bright pink lipsticks all of a sudden! I think they're just so gorgeous. Well, on with the swatches.

WnW Blush in [Pearlescent Pink] • WnW Eyshadow Trio in [I'm Getting SunBurned]

Pearlescent Pink Blush: I love this color. It's like a peachy-pink with a hint of gold shimmer. It's very pretty & looks really nice when the sun hits it.
I'm Getting Sunburned Trio: Gorgeous colors! I loved them all! I had eyed these a couple weeks back but never really felt a big enough urge to pick it up. The color that really spoke to me what the pink-ish browbone but Erika said it was the gold eyelid color that impressed her. & It is very pretty! These trios literally feel like satin & the bottom two colors are very pigmented. The crease color is a rich chocolate brown with small & sparse glitter specs.

Cover Girl Lip Perfection in [Enchantress & Temptress] • 

WnW Silk Finish Lipstick in [Nouveau Pink] (511B)   

I'm very pleased with all of these! The Covergirl products were (Buy 1; Get 1 50% off) So I grabbed the coral pink Temptress. I was hoping they'd have a matte finish but they're more of a luster. The WnW lipsticks right now are 69 cents!! I don't know if it's everywhere or just Walgreens but they were almost all gone. Btw This WnW Nouveau Pink is exactly like Mabelline's Fuchsia Fever. Exactly!

Maybelline Moisture Extreme [Cool Watermelon & Orchid Frost] Lipsticks 

Loveee these lipsticks. They really live up to their name. They are incredibly moisturizing. I had always heard from the late & great QueenB that Big Lots had a lot of great deals on good drugstore makeup brands. But my Big Lots is kind of out of the way, for me. So I never go there but today I was in the neighborhood & saw some bins full of junk! Lol & when I say junk.. I mean hidden treasures. -What a Geek- They had all these Mabelline lipsticks for $1.50 each. Ahhhh! Although a small draw back is that you must hunt for the ones that aren't opened or damaged in some way. Haha Just my luck though. I got the ONE Cool Watermelon lipstick that was in perfect condition after a good ten minutes of searching the bins.. then when I get home I open it all the way to see it & then drop it on the floor..

Ohhh the tragedy!!! Lmao.

Sinful Colors in What's Your Name?

Sinful Colors in Dream On & Nirvana

I'm running out of Sinful Color polishes to get. Haha. At first glance, I thought "What's Your Name" was a black polish but as you can see it has blue & even purple glitter specs. It's a really gorgeous color. The neon fuchsia "Dream On" is a matte bright color! Nirvana's like a greyish milk chocolate.

Video Makeup Recreation.

Or at least my attempt at it. No se rian! Lol This makeup look is from the 6ft 7ft Lil Wayne video. I've been wanting to recreate this look ever since the video first came out but, as you know, I was having trouble finding a bright enough orange lipstick! Soo anywho, this weekend I found one that was close enough lol & I finally did it. I realize the blue under her eye is slightly smudged out but I wanted a cleaner line. c:

Glad I finally got my hands on a good orange lipstick! lol It's not as bright as the model's but that'll do pig, that'll do. (Babe! >.<) Annnnnnd it's also supposed to be big this Spring/Summer so double score ;o !

I'm not a big blush girl but for this, I'd probably recommend WnW's Berry Shimmer blush.. or maybe a creme blush & something brighter like MAC's Optimistic Orange.

Spring Polish Haul+Swatches

Que ondiz. (: My weekend was a tad bit boring. My poor boyfriend is super sick & his family was in town visiting him. I spent most of my time at home. My little cousin Allyson who I hadn't seen in forevarzzz spent the night with us & we spent all Friday night eating Whataburger & watching tv. Saturday morning, we spent half the day talking about life, love, nail polish & everything in between ;o Haha. I missed her so much. She's so adorable! She's not like little girls her age who act & talk dumb. She actually has substance & cares about things outside of the realm of Twilight. =/ Lawl. Anywaysszzz I bought some things this morning & thought I'd share. (:

WnW Trio in Spoiled Brat

I was looking for Springy colors. I had seen a Robin's Egg-ish color last time but didn't see it there today. :( But I'm really liking the Unicorn polish! It's so cute. I also picked up the Spoiled Brat trio, I've been looking for the longest & I finally found it today! I'm not crazy about the crease color (black) I don't really like the sparse random sparkles =/ Haha & it's a bit sheer but obviously buildable.

OMGGGG! I sooo regret buying the two orange lip things. -_- They are lies! Down right lies! Well, honestly I just didn't read. I thought the second one was a lipstick. Turns out it's a gloss balm. I've been wanting to re-create the makeup look in the 6ft 7ft video. So I picked these up but they are so sheer :( I was so disappointed when I got home. My heart literally sank. lol Ugho. on the + side they smell really really good. Haha. Anyway I love the Fuchsia Blue Pearl Lipstick & am really impressed with the overall quality of the WnW lipsticks. They go on incredibly smooth. I'm not a fan of luster-ish finishes on lipsticks though. So I will probably matte these out with a little powder. Super happy with the Rimmel lipstick too. It's a gorgeous mauve-ish nude.. & I love the little crown on the cap. Teehee.


LOTD: Cupcake lips!

On this lazy Sunday.. the only thing I wore on my face was lip balm & mascara. I'm sorry to report though, that I have no clue what the brand of this is. All it says on the bottom is "Manufactured by Zhili Trading" Lol I've had it for the longest & I'm pretty sure I got it as a Christmas gift one year. It came with another darker color that I ended up losing somewhere. =/ So anyways *nacho's voice*... I hope you guys had an awesome weekend!!

RedWhite&Blue + NOTD

Hey ya'll, I did a cool electric blueish look with a matte red lip! Guess what was my inspiration for this! On Tuesday night, President Obama gave the State of the Union address & I watched it with my boyfriend. Of course, we wouldn't miss it for the world. <3 I picked different blues for the eye look & a bold, red matte to not only match the American flag but also because of Nancy Pelosi's awesome dress. Lol I love her!!

This lipstick is my mom's & as you can see it's pretty drying lol. My Avon Eternal Flame lipstick is super moisturizing compared to this one but I still like the way it looks. (:
