 Hey ya'll!! I just wanted to post my favorite makeup pictures that I've done on instagram as of late. I wasn't very good at keeping track of what lashes I wore for each look :( so sorry! But I listed the lip colors & the palettes I used for each look! Hope you likey!

Beauty Around The World: ♥ Spain

I'm going to sneak this post in right here. Lol This post has been in my drafts since like early September yikes! But here it is, now! When I think of Spain, I think of roses, flamenco dancers in flowy dresses. I also think of the beautiful architecture. The gold from the matador's jacket & suit.

Spanish Eyes

CoastalScents 88 Warm Palette: I incorporated muted golds & a lot of shimmery shadows. I wanted to keep the eyes relatively simple because the pow was going to be in the lips! lol I realize this isn't simple for most but it's toned down enough for me lol. I'm also weaing the Revlon double wink lashes.. which I looove!!

Flamenco Red

Wet N Wild Red Velvet 910D: I used this beautiful bright, bold red lipstick. I think it compliments the eyes well & I love the way it looks together!

Red Rose Nails

LA Colors Black polish • Wet N Wild Jezebel • Sinful Colors Simple But Fun: I tried to do a rose design but it just ended up looking a mess! I don't like this manicure at all. I was going for the simple black & red floral design you see everywhere but my version just came out so messy lol. I;m totally losing my nail art creativity.

This was short & sweet & very late lol. So I'm going to schedule this a day back. So people might not even get to see this one. But it's okay, I just wanted to get it posted already! Thanks for stopping by if you do get to see this post! <3 xoxo

Wet Seal Makeup ☼

How adorable is this little guy! Lol I was watching a zoo video by NikkieTutorials on youtube, & I immediately fell inlove with this seal. I'm not sure but by the spots & skin, I think this is a Harbor Seal. Idk either way, you can see him in action.. here. Aside from his big ole' eyes & cute nostrils, lol I love the skin! The beautiful black spots look so pretty on his silver skin. The skin has this iridescent sheen to it that's just amazing. & Call me a crazy makeup lady, but it reminded me of one of my MAC metallic crushed pigments Haha. Hope you enjoy the look!

Silver Eyes

MAC Moss Garden Pigment: This beautiful silver metallic has a sort of green or mint undertone but it's oh so subtle & oh so perfect. This pigment comes from the MAC Butterfly Party set. I just now discovered (doing this post) that each pigment has its own name! I had never seen the names, prior to this post. I had to go back & edit prev posts where I just called them the purple one or blue one. lol Rain drop is the color of the greenish color & Moss Garden is the name to this silver baby. Anyway! This is the main color I used for this look. It's all over the lid & also on the inner lower lash-line. I used a matte brown & black shadow on the crease & outer eye. A matte light highlight & a flesh-tone transition color.

DBSC Professional Luxuriant Eyelashes: These lashes were sent to me by kkcenterhk.com & they're gorgeous. My first impression of their appearance wasn't very good though. They were awesome towards the outer eye but the inner eye looked virtually lash-less. After multiple tries of trying to make them work.. It finally occurred to me to bring up the inner-lashes by curling them! Duhh! I can't believe I hadn't thought of it sooner. So after I put on the lashes, I took my lash curler & carefully curled the the inside lashes only. I tried curling all the lashes & the "tail" part doesn't look as good. It's best to leave the outer lashes, alone. They're synthetic lashes & pretty stiff so they're not the easiest to work with. The lash band is thick & not very comfortable. The ends tend to poke my eyelids, no matter how "perfectly" I apply them. However, I do like the effect the lashes create after curling. I like how the outer lashes look like a tail. Along with the winged liner, it kind of looks like a swallow's tail, doesn't it? lol They're really nice but stiff & uncomfortable. I would wear these again for the awesome effect but only for a short time. If you want more information on these, you can check them out here.

Sky Pink Lips

Revlon Sky Pink+ MAC Like Venus Dazzleglass: For this eye look, I rummaged through my lipsticks for a light pink that I haven't used in awhile. Sky Pink is a matte & it is very dry. I went for this iridiscent pink gloss that my amazing chica Lori gave me. Btw, ya'll should check her out on Instagram: @lori_e she posts about her daily life & does some lovely makeup! Plus, she's a totally wonderful girl.

Glitter Claws

Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty + Dots Aurora Borealis: I have a haul post with this dots nailpolish coming up, it's so pretty!! The glitter in it reminds me of a softer version of Kaleidoscope by Wet n Wild. It's sooo purtayy!! This is how I've been wearing my nails lately. Easy & sparkly! No opaque nail polish.. just these two glitter polishes.I'm loving the stiletto nail trend, by the way! i wish I could do them longer & thinner though.

Giraffe Inspired Look. ღ

Haii! This past weekend, I visited the zoo/refuge & it was so neat. I hadn't been in a long time & it was awesome to see all the beautiful animals. One of my favorites, were the giraffes! They were gorgeous & seemed friendly. Haha. They came as close to us as they could & stared at us. I wanted to make a makeup look inspired by them & here's what I came up with.

Eyes.

 

1.) Highlight & Transition: I used a matte flesh tone color as my highlight & then an orangy color in the crease. (Wet N Wild's I♥Matte palette)
2.) Crease: To define the crease more, I used a color darker in my crease & blended out the edges. (Naked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette)
3.) Golden Lid: I then placed a gold color all over the eyelid. (Half Baked from the Naked Palette)
4.) Blend: Taking a shimmery pinkish color on a fluffy brush, I then blended out the inner-mid crease. (Toasted from the Naked Palette)
5.) Outer Crease: I took a dark shimmery brown & placed it in the outer eye. (Darkhorse from the Naked Palette)
6.) Blend: Blend it the edges & where the other shadows meet.
7.) Inner Eye: With a pencil brush, I dabbed a shimmery light shadow in the inner tear duct area. (Virgin from the Naked Palette)
8.) Liquid Line: With a black liquid liner, I lined my top lid, with a dramatic winged eyeliner. (Wet N Wild Water Proof Liquid Liner)
9.) Pencil Line: With a black pencil liner, I tightlined the top & my waterline. (Wet N Wild Pencil Eyeliner in Black)
10.) Define: I used a dark grey color to define & darken the outer eye. I mixed the shimmery brown & the dark gray color into the lower lash line. (Darkhorse & Creep from the Naked Palette)
11.) Lashes: To finish off the look, I applied a black mascara on my top & bottom lashes & then applied some short but full falsies. (Mabelline The Colossal & Ardell Lashes in 101 Black)
12.) Conceal: As a finishing touch,, I then conceal under my eyes & set with a powder.  (Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer in Light & Wet N Wild Natural Blend Powder in Bare)

Lips.

[L] Wearing Reel Sexy only [R] Pucker Up Gloss over Reel Sexy

MAC Reel Sexy • Sinful Colors Pucker Up: I loooove this lipcolor combo! I really like the orangy-pink lipstick alone but love it with this gloss too. The gloss is more of a milky pink but it looks prettier than I expected with this lipstick. It's bright, fun & a great Summer color. I'm usually a pink lip kind of person lol but I've been trying different colors lately & I'm loving it. Corals & oranges have been my favorite!

Nails.

Sinful Colors in Vacation Time: This is literally my third attempt at giraffe print nails lol. My first attempt reminded me of banana pops & chocolate lol. My second, I did a sparkly lavender background with a too-bright orange pattern on it. I didn't even bother to take pictures of it, it was so bad lol! This was the only one I was pleased with lol.
