Claire's Poprockz Makeup Book • Elf Brightening Eye Color in Silver Lining

I used Obsessed in the inner corners & along the bottom lash line. I used the creme color in the Elf quad in the middle of my lids. Then Mix Master on the outer part of the eyes & also along the bottom lash line. I then took the blue-ish purple in the Elf quad in the outer V of the eye just enough to darken it up a little bit. Then I took the light pink from the quad & dabbed it lightly on the center of the lids, on top of the creme color. (:

Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink Pout • NYX gloss in Pinky Natural 

I love this lip combo, they combine perfectly with each other. I really really like this lipstick & I topped it off with my favorite lipgloss evarrr. (Thanks to Tiffany♥)

Stuffed Jalapenos+Fiery Fuchsia

 

Haii phrands. ^.- The weather's getting warmer ("scorching" if you live in Texas lol) & it's getting close to bbq season. Although, if you have a family like mine.. we bbq all year long. "Even in December, bro?" Especially in December, son. o.o Osea, New Years! Lol Anywho.. Something that has now become my specialty is grilled stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon. It's actually just really easy to make & one of the few things I can make. I made some Friday & would like to take you through the process. (:

Things you need (This makes 15):

• 15 Large Jalapeno Peppers
• 1 bx of Philadelphia's Cream Cheese
• 1 pk of bacon

After you've washed all the jalapenos.. slice them open & with a spoon take out all the jalapeno guts & seeds. I keep a plastic bag nearby for this. You can slice them however you want. I like to cut them like in an L shape. Is it the best way to cut them? I have no clue lol. This is just how my aunt does it, so I do it too. ;P

 Once I scoop out all the stuff inside, with a separate spoon I fill each half of the jalapeno with the cream cheese. be as generous as you want lol. Just be careful, cause it will leak cheese while it's on the grill/oven if it's too much.

After this, I put both halves back together & take a strip of bacon & wrap it around the jalapeno. Since I did these in the oven, I put them on a baking sheet.. with foil paper. You don't need the foil paper =/ I just kind of like using it for some reason. If you make these on the grill you might want to use toothpicks to keep the bacon in place. Since once it starts cooking, it's going to shrink & might unravel.

I put these in the oven at 450 for a little over 30 mins. I kept checking them 'cause I wanted them crispy but  not charcoal crispy lol. You take them out when the bacon is fully cooked!

& Tadaaa! You're done. If you don't like spicy things, this isn't for you. Haha. Although they hardly pica. They're super popular in my family. If you come to one of our bbq's, be careful. These things are known to fly off your plate if you leave them unattended. lol Hope ya'll had a good weekend! <3

 Mabelline Color Sensational in Fuchsia Fever • WnW Fuchsia w.Blue Pearl • Show Colors Lipgloss
I put Fuchsia Fever on first & then with a lip brush, applied Fuchsia w.Blue Pearl & topped it off with the pink lipgloss. The gloss has tons of tiny little sparkles. It's super pretty.

Happy Valentine's Day!! +FOTD

Heyy girls! Hope y'all had a great day with your special someone! From what I've noticed, a lot of couples took it easy this year & kicked back at home or went out for a little dinner & chilled at home, which is perfect, in my opinion. My man pretty much watched Sparticus all day lol & I watched the last two episodes of Friday Night Lights online. Wahhh! :( I'm so sad it ended. I couldn't stop crying on the last episode. Texas Forever!! Lol I love Riggins. But anyway! My baby got me a dozen roses & a big ol teddy bear lol he might not look it, in the pic.. but trust, that thing is huge. Lol. I hope ya'll had an awesome day & if you didn't have a Valentine this year, es cool.. I'll be your Valentine ♥ lol.

FOTD: Pretty in Pink.

(Look Ma, no circle lenses!) I used the pink blush as a lid color lol & the pink in the LA palette as the crease color & blended it up. I used the WnW color as my highlight. Then took both pink colors with an angled brush & placed them on my lower lash line.

Sweet Sweet January + NOTD

 

Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

       I went really light on the brown sugar 'cause I didn't want it to get gooey & runny. It was my first time making one of these & I think it came out pretty darn delicious. It was a box yellow cake though, so I can't take much credit lol. I literally Youtubed 'pineapple upside down cake' & followed step by step what the girl in the video said. It was my Tia Dora's birthday on New Year's Day so we had a cookout for her at our house & I made her this cake. She wasn't even expecting to do anything for her birthday except spend it with the family so she was pretty surprised. Haa. She's like my second mother. She's always been there for me & I know I'm not supposed to say but she's definitely my favorite aunt. <3

Chocolate Covered Strawberries. 

      We couldn't get a hold of the ginormous strawberries so we just did it with the normal ones. I did this as a favor to my little brother. Haa. He wanted them to give to his girlfriend. They turned out pretty delish! I mean, I wouldn't know. Teehee. (: Next time, I'm going to have to get the giant strawberries though. I think they'd look a lot better!

Saturday's Mexican Cuisine. :3

Teehee. Started off the morning with pan dulce. Idk what they call it in English. I've heard people down here call it "sweet bread". But these are the same people that think "parkear" is Spanish for "park". So I'm not sure. lol But anyway!! By the time I woke up, what's shown in the pic is all that was left lol. I ate the pink one. :3 They're my favorite. I also like the super soft conchas. Not the ones up there. They're similar but the others are softer & tastier. :3 Lol Anywayyyy, today was my beautiful Gma's birthday & my WHOLE family had menudo at my Tia Olga's house. It was sooo good. For those of you that don't know what menudo is, let's wikipedia this one time.. ;o

 

Menudo (soup) is a traditional Mexican dish made with beef stomach in a red chili base. Chopped cilantro is added, as well as crushed oregano, garlic, and crushed red chili peppers. Boiled tripe has a tough chewy texture very similar to calamari, but with a completely unique flavor and smell. Menudo is eaten with corn tortillas.

Que rico! I add diced green chile, chopped onions, & lime. ;]  Osea, yumm. And for lunch I had cheese enchiladas! Lool what a delicious day.

Yes, my blog was about food. But you don't understand.. this food was outofthisworldwonderfullyamazing! <3 On a different note, I'm thinking of changing up my bedroom but I don't want to start yet. Whenever I start re-decorating my room, I can't do it in babysteps, I always get borderline obsessive about it & want to finish it asap. =/ So I end up getting overwhelmed pretty fast & give up faster. Argh. I think I'll just try moving things out, little by little. We'll see how that goes. -_-  Tahaa Okay well, ciao for now!! <3 (Yes, I realize no one else reads this blog but me & the occasional person who accidentally clicked their way here. lol But I don't care, I like to be cordial.) Didn't really go to any of my stores. I glanced around Wet Seal but I didn't see anything that really caught my eye. Their accessory racks were looking pretty sad too =/ lol I must've missed some big awesome sale. There will be other days. =] Ta-ta for now.

Doritos! Mmmm; I loveee these crispy, cheesy critters. I ate them with Louisiana hot sauce. I don't even have a big tolerance for hot sauce but that didn't stop me from pouring it on thick. =/ lol My mouth was on fire but jumping jellyfish was it DELICIOUS! <3 LOL As usual, my boyfriend complained about the crunching noises I was making; But it's a good thing he couldn't see the dumb faces I was making lol >.>
