I did a really simple purple smokey eye. It's not super dramatic & can be worn for just about anything. The most dramatic thing here is probably the eyeliner lol. The purple in the trio is a bit of the silver side, so to amp up the purple in it, I used the Mabelline Color Tattoo "Painted Purple" as a base all over the lid before I put the shadows on. I used the white shimmer in the inner tear duct & the black to define the outer eye. This trio is from kkcenterhk & can be found here.

I found this awesome duo at a CCO awhile ago & fell inlove with them! The lipcreme is a matte beautiful plum color but it doesn't seem to look complete without gloss. The Narcissus gloss has more of a warmer purple, the lipstick is more muted. 

I can never seem to get my drafts cleared lol I'm such a procrastinator. I'll be purging more old posts tomorrow. I don't know why I feel the need to get all the old stuff out before I post the new stuff lol. I got some haulssss to post >.< Thanks for stopping by!! ♡

Solone Eyeliner - Silver Glitter

I really wanted to do glitter lids like the amazing chrissyp so infamously does! Of course my results aren't as spectacular lol but I really enjoyed the look!  She also has a gorgeous purple look I want to try. But anywhooo! I was able to accomplish this look by using this beautiful glitter liner from kkcenterhk. You can check out the liner here! I also used this liner on Halloween as just a simple line above my usual black liner. I will be posting my super late Halloween look soon also to show you. Anyway though! Here's my attempt at simple glittery lids.

Disco Lids

ICE Cosmetics (no longer available) • Solone Glitter Liner: I used the glitter liner as a base all over the lid & with a flat synthetic brush pat on the loose glitter. I worked one small area at a time & tried not to look up to avoid transference above my natural crease. I still got some rebel specs up there but it was nothing too horrible lol. I went thick on the liner & kept the lashes & the crease color pretty tame. I really liked wearing this out, you only really see the glitter when you blink & it looks awesome!

Bright Coral Lips

MAC Watch Me Simmer: I wore this bright coral-ish orange (it looks brighter in person) lipstick. It's an Amp Creme so it's really moisturizing & creamy. The color itself is super fun & totally out of my usual pink & nude zone.

Kaleidoscope Nude

LA Colors Intimate • WetNWild Fergie Kaleidoscope Eyes: This is one of my favorite manicures everrrr! & It's so incredibly simple but it looks so pretty!! I think stiletto nails give off a kind of elegance. I use this pearl nude color from LA Colors a lot!! I love it & I think the nails would've looked great, just with the nude color. But I don't necessarily like how sheer it is & how you can still see where the fake & real nail meets. So I slapped on this glitter polish. I don't like how it gives off very little glitter, but in this case.. it works for me!

Halloween 2012- Army Girl ♡

[Just getting around to this post lol Shhhh!]  Halloween has come & gone but I never got the chance to post what I actually wore that day. We didn't do anything super exciting. I gave out candy with my two amorsotes. Muneka was in the Halloween spirit too! I wanted to dress her as a pumpkin but I only saw a pumpkin at Petco's & the darn thing was like $20+ Ain't nobody got time fo that! I got her a cute sweater at Walmart for $7 instead! She wasn't too fond of it when she first wore it. (See pics below lol) But on Halloween, she didn't even care cause she was on cloud 9! I had her on the porch with us & people were gushing over her & petting her. She loooooves people & she looves to be the center of attention! So she had a blast out there.

Omg she hated me so much the first day lol. She didn't even want to get up. I had to take it off her, she looked so miserable.

Coastal Scents Warm Palette • Solone Glitter Liner: As far as eyeshadow goes, it's super simple! I just put a light brown in the crease & dragged a darker brown on the lower lash line. & Also deepened the outer v with it. I used all matte colors. But as you can see, it's nothing really special at all. The fun part was a thin line of glitter liner. I've used this liner all over the lid in this post & I'm so inlove with it! This silver liner is from kkcenterhk.com & you can find all the info on it  here. I've been really enjoying glitter liners, as of late. Nessa sent me some really gorgeous glitter liners recently that I've been loving! I'll be posting those pretty soon also. It gives boring makeup some.. as the great penguin Memphis would say.. umph!

Wet N Wild 915B Spiked With Rum: I'm working backwards here lol but I'm pretty sure the this is the lipstick I used for Halloween. It's my mom's favorite shade on me.. because it's her shade. lol She always uses colors like this. Anyway, I honestly don't think it's all that flattering on me. I actually think it ages me a bit. But it really is a pretty color, generally speaking. I wear it from time to time because it's such an awesome color.. whether it suits me or not lol.

There's a new Sgt. Padilla in town. Yayy lol. My "costume" came super easy. I was looking at costumes online & I saw an army girl & was like "Heyyyy! I wanna be that!" My bf immediately offered me some of his army stuff! I did feel kind of guilty wearing the helmet for Halloween. I almost felt like I was desecrating pieces of history. But he said it wasn't a big deal. Although, I know it really is lol. I handled everything with super extra care. Omgosh I thought his helmet would fit me loose lol but it just barely fit my big ole head. The coolest thing I got to wear was his last name patch thing. ♡ I also wore his dogtags (which I wear alot anyway lol). It was so cool & he's such a sweetheart to let me dress up as him haha.

LA Colors Black • Wet N Wild Fergie Kaleidoscope Eyes: I had done this mani just for Halloween. It's just an all black nail with some sparkle on the beginning. I must say, this Fergie polish was a pain to build up. It doesn't give off a lot of glitter so I had to pick up the glitter & manually put it on my nail with a dotting tool. It sucked lol plush the results weren't what I thought they'd be. I didn't really like them too much.

Omg I thought these were so cute lol I made my bf like a Halloween goody bag for funsies. & I stuffed it with a bunch of these candy covers lol. These are the four types of covers I made. I got the idea from Pinterest lol. I put a bunch of his favorite candies in there & I also made him some m&m brownies. Luckily he loves my kindergarten-like crafts lmao. ♡

Halloween Look: Poison Ivy ☠

Hey girls! So I really want to do some simple Halloween looks! Definitely nothing over the top because I want to show how easy it is to come up with a great look without having to spend a whole lot of money. I'll be using stuff I already have to accessorize the makeup to give you an idea of what you could do. This look will be Poison Ivy from Batman, the Uma Therman version.

Deadly Garden Eyes

Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer Palette: I used Edgy Emerald color tattoo from Mabelline as a base for the lids. I did a very standard, very simple green smokey eye. I didn't want to do anything crazy since I also made an Ivy mask. But I still wanted to keep the green color theme going with the eye makeup. It's only right!

These lashes are called "Chan Mei Eyelash K-Series Five Pairs Handmade Double Lashes-K15" from KKCenterHK & you can find them here. I think the way they're packaged has a lot to do with how they fit. Since these are pushed up in the shape of an eye, application is really easy. They have a thick band, but because they're already shaped to fit an eye.. they're really easy to wear & don't poke or stab my eyelids lol. Linked here is another pic in which I'm wearing these lashes. I love the how feathery looking the ends are. Really different & really pretty!

Love-Dust Lips

MAC Moxie: Since this color is like a pinkish red for me lol I decided to wear this one. Although I think her lips are more of an orangy red though. Any red lip would look great though. & If you have red hair or a red wig, I think it would look even better!

Okay this is my very humble.. very simple Poison Ivy mask. Lol Very simple. Basically, I had some green glitter foam paper lying around & I cut out the shape for each eyebrow. I didn't use anything special to measure it precisely. I just eyeballed it, because it's going to get covered with "leaves" anyway. So then I cut out the "leaves" in different sizes, trying to make them longer where your arch is. Mine aren't perfect at all lol but I still really liked them. This foam paper is sticky on the back but I had a hard time getting it to stay on my face. So I just ended up using lash glue around the eyebrows  to keep it on my face. Try not to get any one your actual eyebrow hairs cause.. it'll be painful when you try to take it off. Trust me. "I know from experience, duuuude. "

The homemade mask goes a long way! You don't have to spend a ton of time doing intricate makeup to get the full Poison Ivy effect. I'm wearing just a regular green tank top & the leaves are from my Home Interior pot lol! I cut those suckers off & wrapped them around myself. lol Well thanks so much for stopping by! Wet Seal Makeup ☼

How adorable is this little guy! Lol I was watching a zoo video by NikkieTutorials on youtube, & I immediately fell inlove with this seal. I'm not sure but by the spots & skin, I think this is a Harbor Seal. Idk either way, you can see him in action.. here. Aside from his big ole' eyes & cute nostrils, lol I love the skin! The beautiful black spots look so pretty on his silver skin. The skin has this iridescent sheen to it that's just amazing. & Call me a crazy makeup lady, but it reminded me of one of my MAC metallic crushed pigments Haha. Hope you enjoy the look!

Silver Eyes

MAC Moss Garden Pigment: This beautiful silver metallic has a sort of green or mint undertone but it's oh so subtle & oh so perfect. This pigment comes from the MAC Butterfly Party set. I just now discovered (doing this post) that each pigment has its own name! I had never seen the names, prior to this post. I had to go back & edit prev posts where I just called them the purple one or blue one. lol Rain drop is the color of the greenish color & Moss Garden is the name to this silver baby. Anyway! This is the main color I used for this look. It's all over the lid & also on the inner lower lash-line. I used a matte brown & black shadow on the crease & outer eye. A matte light highlight & a flesh-tone transition color.

DBSC Professional Luxuriant Eyelashes: These lashes were sent to me by kkcenterhk.com & they're gorgeous. My first impression of their appearance wasn't very good though. They were awesome towards the outer eye but the inner eye looked virtually lash-less. After multiple tries of trying to make them work.. It finally occurred to me to bring up the inner-lashes by curling them! Duhh! I can't believe I hadn't thought of it sooner. So after I put on the lashes, I took my lash curler & carefully curled the the inside lashes only. I tried curling all the lashes & the "tail" part doesn't look as good. It's best to leave the outer lashes, alone. They're synthetic lashes & pretty stiff so they're not the easiest to work with. The lash band is thick & not very comfortable. The ends tend to poke my eyelids, no matter how "perfectly" I apply them. However, I do like the effect the lashes create after curling. I like how the outer lashes look like a tail. Along with the winged liner, it kind of looks like a swallow's tail, doesn't it? lol They're really nice but stiff & uncomfortable. I would wear these again for the awesome effect but only for a short time. If you want more information on these, you can check them out here.

Sky Pink Lips

Revlon Sky Pink+ MAC Like Venus Dazzleglass: For this eye look, I rummaged through my lipsticks for a light pink that I haven't used in awhile. Sky Pink is a matte & it is very dry. I went for this iridiscent pink gloss that my amazing chica Lori gave me. Btw, ya'll should check her out on Instagram: @lori_e she posts about her daily life & does some lovely makeup! Plus, she's a totally wonderful girl.

Glitter Claws

Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty + Dots Aurora Borealis: I have a haul post with this dots nailpolish coming up, it's so pretty!! The glitter in it reminds me of a softer version of Kaleidoscope by Wet n Wild. It's sooo purtayy!! This is how I've been wearing my nails lately. Easy & sparkly! No opaque nail polish.. just these two glitter polishes.I'm loving the stiletto nail trend, by the way! i wish I could do them longer & thinner though.
